TOT on Learning Difficulties in the Ministry of Education, Khartoum
The Training Department of the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Khartoum office of UNESCO organized a 3-day training for teacher鈥檚 trainers (ToT) on learning difficulties. The ToT took place in the premises of the Training Department from 27 February to 1 March 2017 covering about 30 participants from the Training and Special Education Departments of the Federal and Khartoum State鈥檚 Ministries, and teachers from some basic schools. The ToT (and the development of materials in general) was funded by El Sara Community Rehabilitation NGO with help of Teital Company for Trading and Industry.

During the ToT, the trainees have exposed to the inclusive education matters in general and the issues of learning difficulties in particular using the interactive method of training, group work, role plays and some lectures and presentations. Completing the ToT, the participants are ready to conduct training sessions for teachers of the basic level all over Sudan disseminating principles of Inclusive Education and addressing the practical issues of students with learning difficulties 鈥 contributing to the objective of the 2030 World Development Agenda 鈥淟eaving No One Behind鈥.
