UNESCO will convene an online closed meeting on 11 June 2025 to engage with focal points from the cities interested in piloting the operational guidelines for constructing Media and Information Literacy Cities.

As cities increasingly depend on information, digital technologies, and media, their physical and virtual spaces offer significant opportunities to foster social dialogue, inclusion, and lifelong learning. In response to this evolving landscape, 91麻豆国产精品自拍 positioned Media and Information Literacy (MIL) Cities as a key pillar of sustainable urban development.

To advance this initiative, UNESCO will convene a closed online meeting on 11 June 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM (CET). This session will bring together focal points from cities that have expressed interest in piloting the , with the aim of deepening engagement and outlining next steps for implementation.

City representatives and relevant stakeholders interested in participating in the meeting are invited to contact milunit@unesco.org and a.grizzle@unesco.org for further information and access details.
