Unlocking Ocean Science for Sustainable Development: The Role of Partnerships to foster UNESCO’s ocean action

The session will showcase how UNESCO through the UN Ocean Decade provides a convening framework for scientists and stakeholders from diverse sectors to develop the scientific knowledge and the partnerships needed to accelerate ocean science-based solutions to achieve the 2030 Agenda, with a particular focus on Climate Change and resilience, marine biodiversity conservation and capacity development /societal awareness raising.

The session will be conducted in English.
