Webinar: Management tools for the water sector in Latin America and the Caribbean facing COVID-19

The webinar will take place on Thursday, April 02, 2020 (*).
In times where collaboration and exchange of knowledge between experts, scientists and decision-makers becomes essential, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Program in Latin America and the Caribbean (PHI-LAC) co-organize this webinar to facilitate the meeting in virtual mode.
The main objective will be the exchange of management tools for the water sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, to face the circumstance of COVID-19 at the regional level.
The webinar will take place next Thursday, April 02, 2020 (*).
The participation is oriented to experts and decision makers in the management of water resources, scientists in the water field, members of the National Committees of the IHP-LAC, centers and chairs of water, and members of the working groups of the PHI.
Spanish will be the working language.
The session will count with the participation of Mrs. Lidia Brito, UNESCO Regional Director of Sciences in Latin America and the Caribbean; Mr. Marcelo Korc, Unit Chief Climate Change and Environmental Determinants of Health at PAHO; Ms. Patricia Segurado, PAHO / WHO Regional Advisor on Water and Sanitation; Mr. Miguel Doria, Regional Hydrologist of the PHI-LAC; Mrs. Blanca Jiménez Cisneros, Director General of the National Water Commission of Mexico; among others.
