Youth Inclusion through Art in Jordan!

A group of 28 Jordanian youth was given the opportunity to discuss selected articles of the UDHR through the Art-Lab Workshop!

As part of the 75th year celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), a group of 28 Jordanian youth was given the opportunity to discuss selected articles of the UDHR, in on 26-29 August in Amman, Jordan. 

During the workshop, articles such as dignity (#1), the right to freedom of opinion and expression (#19) and the right to participate in cultural life and enjoy the arts and culture (#27) were debated from the youth perspective.

Based on the UNESCO Art-Lab methodology, the discussions provided for a unique learning space for the youth to enhance their analytical, expression and teamwork skills in advocating social inclusion through artistic creativity. 

Art pieces of various forms (digital art, photography and upcycled art) produced by the participants were displayed at the workshop venue and shared among participants to conclude the activity.
