Communication, Information and Youth
Youth plays a critical role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
As a priority group of UNESCO, youth are involved in the implementation of several programmes in the field of communication and information, both as beneficiaries and contributors.
UNESCO is committed to equipping young people with key 21st century skills that will allow them to navigate the evolving information landscape and to address emerging challenges in the digital age.
This includes strengthening the capacities of youth and encouraging their active participation in the development of media and information literacy and digital competencies.
