A global consultation convened by the GEM Report will engage critical stakeholders including women currently occupying political, management and school leadership positions to shed light on the challenges women encounter in accessing education leadership positions and identify critical research gaps and promising trends from around the world, that could inform the analysis in the 2024/5 GEM Report.
The objectives of the consultation include:
- Share the early thinking of the GEM Report team in preparation for the 2024 GEM Report
- Provide a space for gender and leadership experts to provide substantive feedback to the proposed lines of research with a particular focus on women’s leadership.
- Hear from female education leaders, academics and partners working to address challenges and enhance women’s representation in education leadership positions.
