At the Transforming Education Summit in September 2022, participants called for targeted actions to advance the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4, gender equality and girls’ and women’s empowerment in and through education.
This day long dialogue convened by UNESCO and the University College London will focus on the following objectives:
- Exchange and receive feedback on different initiatives supporting the collection of high-quality data on gender equality in and through education.
- Put forward how best to support countries to collect high-quality data on gender equality in and through education, and opportunities for collaboration.
The GEM Report's Director Manos Antoninis will share insights during the forum on monitoring gender equality in SDG 4.
