What we do

Facilitate regional consultation processes to bring a harmonized regional position.
Constitute a dynamic space to deepen the political and technical dialogue between ministries of education and other educational actors in the region.
Carry out advocacy functions that will enable the educational challenges to be placed on national, subregional, and regional agendas.
Share experiences contributing to disseminating good practices and producing information and knowledge from and for the region.
Monitor the progress of SDG4 in LAC and the fulfillment of the commitments made by the states in the global education summits that are part of SDG 4.

Facilitate the articulation and coordination of the regional agendas in education promoted by the different agencies and organizations.
Activate and/or consolidate programs, projects or regional public goods that mobilize resources, consolidate educational cooperation among member states and lead to the fulfillment of SDG 4.
