The handbook was prepared and published for experts and stakeholders who are dedicated to empowering rural populations by community-based organizations, education institutions and NGOs. Community Learning Centers (CLCs) play a critical role in rural revitalization and development. The content of the handbook is based on the first edition in Asia-Pacific region, and was adapted from its original English version that was published by UNESCO in the last decade. This CLC handbook now is produced in Chinese with up-to-date content that fits China¡¯s context. It is envisaged that the CLC Hand-Book will contribute to better management of CLCs in China and advancing skills development and lifelong learning in China.
