国际传播发展计划以《温得和克会议叁十周年纪念宣言》为基础，正在围绕媒体生存能力创建对话，以便媒体利益攸关方和各国政府采取行动。

At the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference, UNESCO released the highlights of the World Trends in Freedom of Expression and Media Development 2021/2022 Global Report, addressing media viability within the framework of “journalism as a public good.” Before the expert panel, opening remarks were made by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, and Swedish Minister for Culture and Democracy Amanda Lind.
国际传播发展计划40周年：媒体发展的未来
2020年11月24日，国际传播发展计划庆祝其塑造媒体发展意义的40年历程。通过支持基层倡议及制定各项标准和框架，国际传播发展计划伴随着数十年的媒体发展和相关政策改革，不断丰富公民的媒体选择，推动新闻教育不断向前。
它帮助了从一个/少数管制发声的时代向媒体多元化和提高记者专业技能的时代演变。
具有讽刺意味的是，国际传播发展计划的40周年纪念日恰逢媒体机构的经济生存能力受到前所未有的挑战。
这场庆祝活动以“媒体发展的未来”为主题，使人们可以借此机会参与辩论，探讨媒体生存能力及摆在桌面上的政策方案。
