Under the patronage of UNESCO, the AVETIS Association celebrated the enduring value of peace

Building peace in the minds of men and women
Since wars begin in the minds of women and men, it is in the minds of women and men that the defences of peace must be constructed.
These opening words from UNESCO’s Constitution reflect our commitment to identifying and addressing the root causes of conflict. They serve as the guiding principle for all our actions.
UNESCO was founded on a clear and unwavering belief: that lasting peace cannot rely solely on political and economic relationships between states. True reconciliation and sustainable development require deeper foundations—ones built on mutual understanding, respect for the equal dignity of all people, and the intellectual and moral solidarity of humanity.
For this reason, mentioned the Director of the UNESCO Liaison Office in Geneva: 'It is a great pleasure and privilege to celebrate this year at the Victoria Hall in Geneva ‘Mozart pour la Paix’. Music transcends borders, cultures, and languages, serving as a universal thread that unites humanity. It speaks to the heart in ways that words often cannot, forging connections between people from diverse backgrounds. Through melody and rhythm, music carries emotions, tells stories, and conveys messages of hope, unity, and understanding.'
In a world often divided by conflict and misunderstanding, music reminds us of our shared humanity.
