As part of , the UNESCO Global Skills Academy (GSA) proposes a 1.5-hour session focused on equipping African youth with essential skills to thrive in the rapidly evolving job market. This session, aligned with the conference theme "Creating jobs for the 21st century: Unleashing the potential of transforming skills development for sustainable employability," will explore the critical role of digital/AI, green, and entrepreneurial skills in shaping Africa's future workforce. 

The GSA session will offer valuable insights into how these skills are key to sustainable employability and job creation in Africa. It will also showcase the UNESCO Global Skills Academy's commitment to empowering Africa's youth by bridging the skills gap through strategic partnerships with the private sector and educational institutions. 

By sharing success stories and discussing practical strategies, the session aims to inspire action and foster new collaborations to expand skills development opportunities across the continent.
