In 2023, UNESCO, in partnership with the Ministry of Education in Brazil (MEC), carried out the New Upper Secondary Education Survey to collect data and analyze the perception of students, teachers and school managers regarding the first year of implementation of the New Upper Secondary Education. This implementation occurred in the first grade of upper secondary education public schools in 2022.
