New WWDR鈥檚 themes announced
With the recent change introduced to the WWDR, this UN-Water flagship report will become annual and thematic with a focus on different strategic water issues each year. The first annual WWDR will be published in 2014 and will address the theme "Water and Energy".
鈥淲ater and Sustainable Development鈥 will be the new theme for the 6th edition of the WWDR, as it has been decided in the 18th UN-Water meeting, which took place in February 2013. The WWDR6 will be launched in 2015.
The report鈥檚 themes will be harmonized with those of World Water Day (22 March).
