On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of World Press Freedom Day, the 30th anniversary of the Vienna Conference and its Declaration and Program of Action on Human Rights, and the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will hold on Wednesday (12/04) the webinar "Freedom of expression as a driver for all other human rights".
Specialized professionals from the United Nations system and civil society organizations will participate in this webinar. They will gather to discuss the place of freedom of expression in the current human rights agenda. The webinar will also address the particular role of journalists and the media in fact-finding and dissemination, creating spaces for articulating ideas with the general public.
