Unlike previous UNESCO Campus sessions aimed at students, this edition is specifically designed to support teaching teams and education professionals in the field of environmental education—a key area of focus for UNESCO.

This Masterclass will address a range of topics related to the ocean and the environment, including the ocean’s role in climate regulation, civic and policy-oriented approaches to ocean action, and pedagogical strategies to foster ocean literacy among students. It aims to promote informed discussion and provide practical tools to help educators raise awareness among younger generations about the environmental challenges facing our planet.

Educators, science teachers, and environmental professionals are encouraged to take part in this session, which is part of UNESCO’s Ocean Education Series and supported by the Engie Foundation. The session will be conducted in Portuguese.
