As a manifesto, it narrates the revolution of May 25th, 1809 in La Plata (today Sucre, capital of the Plurinational State of Bolivia) led by the people and the lawyers of the University against the officials of the Royal Audience, thus revealing the internal struggles between those who supported Fernando VII and the followers of his sister, Carlota Joaquina, princess of Portugal.

Clandestine in nature and written by a cult member of the absolutist elite, it expresses the discontent of the royalist side regarding the events.

Although the patriots harmed and denigrated Carlota Joaquina, the author of the document vindicates her role and takes pleasure in the persecutions and hardships suffered by the wives of royalists officials after the revolution.

This inscription refers to countries like France, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia.
