The Oduvaldo Vianna Archive (1892-1972) has correspondences, work notes, notebooks, texts of plays, texts of telenovelas, scripts, scripts, radio programs, drawings of costumes, photographs, as well as newspaper articles about their performance, posters, and programs of plays. A pioneer in the arts, his productions were very influential in theater, cinema, and radio, especially radio soap operas, a genre that appeared in Latin America in the first half of the 20th century. 

The work of Oduvaldo Vianna was fundamental for the introduction of innovations in the entertainment market in Brazil. It is an important name in the connection of Brazilian production and the Latin American popular artistic circuit being an articulator of the arts between Brazil and Latin America.
