Meeting on Priority Africa 2022-2029 Education flagship programmes, Side Meeting
UNESCO Education, and Priority Africa and External Relations Sector
The High-Level Breakfast Meeting held under the theme “Transforming Africa through Education and the valuing of its History” will highlight the strategic role of education in the context of the implementation of UNESCO Operational Strategy for Priority Africa (2022-2029).
The event provided an opportunity to exchange on the education-related UNESCO Priority Africa Flagship Programmes (Campus Africa and the General History of Africa); showcase “voices from the ground” and provide a platform for North-South-South cooperation in reinforcing higher education in Africa and the integration of the General History of Africa in education systems in Africa and in the diaspora.
