This experience, named “Koneltun,” will last for two days, with the first of these taking place in Curaco de Vélez, Quinchao Island in the Chiloé Archipelago (Los Lagos Region, Chile), on the 30th and 31st of May, 2024. Forty-eight traditional educators will participate, twenty-four of whom are from the islands.

Based on the systematisation of the experience, the Universidad de Los Lagos, the project’s implementing entity, will propose a model of linguistic, cultural, and pedagogical immersion that can be replicable and sustainable over time.

• 14:00-15:00 (1 h) | Ürkutun (active rest): Awkantuaiñ awar kuden (let’s play awar kuden) in Chedungun/Willichedungun

• 16:00-17:00 (1 h) | Activity 4: Katrün dungun ka we dungun (sentence construction using words)
• 17:00-18:00 (1 h) | Activity 5: Müchulla nütramkan mew (conversation in pairs about the family)

• 10:30-12:00 (1.5 h) | Activity 2: Epewtuaiñ (assembling scrambled epew and linking them to what has been observed in the environment)
• 13:00-14:00 (1 h) | Yafütun rupan antü mew (lunch)
