Malta ratifies the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property

On 15 July 2024, Malta deposited with the Director-General its instrument of ratification of the Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property (Paris, 14 November 1970).
In accordance with the terms of Article 21, the Convention will enter into force with respect to Malta three months after the deposit of the instrument of ratification, that is to say on 15 October 2024.
