Funded by the UNESCO Heritage Emergency Fund and the UNESCO-Aschberg programme for artists and cultural professionals, the project supported 57 internally displaced Ukrainian artists and their dependents (25 women and 32 men) in partnership with the NGO Perpetuum Mobile/Artists at Risk, to find a safe residency inside the country for up to 3 months. This support allowed them to maintain their creative work and connect with their peers and audiences in their new locations. Artists were hosted in 13 partner Ukrainian host institutions that also received support under the project to enable them to run sustainably and safely receive residents.
