The project, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, is to create a Status of the Professional Artist that includes the safeguarding of the singularities of cultural professionals and the protection of their social and labour rights. This will be done through a participatory process ensuring awareness and contributions from all relevant stakeholders, to improve the cultural and creative citizenship and economic performance in Mozambique by guaranteeing the inclusion of men, youth and women from the informal sector within the mandatory social protection system.
